There are many different types of art forms and artists creating change all around us every day. One unfortunate reality is that fewer and fewer people are taking the time to actually experience the impact that they can have in, and on, their lives.
CJ Harlan and The Harlan Circle are committed to changing this reality by creating more overall awareness; by supporting the work of new and experienced artists; and by empowering individuals and groups to Make A Difference in their own lives and the lives of many.
"Significant change can happen one person at a time, but when change is made through the efforts of a collective it can be even more powerful..."
This is what motivated CJ Harlan to develop the Empowering Artist Collective and her "Art That Makes A Difference" Program, which you can be a part of when you (or an artist you know) decide to join CJ and the EAC.

Important Notes:
Any Artist can APPLY to become a Harlan Circle Artist.
HC Artists do not have to have their own website to exhibit on HCG...So, if you're just turning your art into a business do not worry about having your own site.
You can be selected as a Harlan Circle Artist and be invited to join the EAC, whether you choose to consign your work or not through HC.
Only HC Artists that join EAC and are chosen to consign their work, will exhibit their work online and be expected to contribute to GGP from HC sales.
Any approved HC artist that is an EAC member can be invited to teach at a Harlan Circle Event or with CJ when Art Therapy Classes are offered.
Any HC Artist can be invited to sell their work offline at HC events upon registration, booth fees are minimal to cover table and set up expenses.
We value you as an artist and never demand any exclusive rights to your work.
You are welcome to create and produce items that you wish to sell exclusively through HC.
You don't have to attend any workshops, or sign up for any HC services but we do encourage you to review HC information so you fully understand what you are requesting to be a part of with all that HC has to offer.
All HC artists receive discounts on any HC services, classes or retreats, and receive free EAC tickets to any Harlan event.
HC Artists that consign their work agree to gift 5% of their sales to the GGP.
The HC Consignment split is 35% to HC and 65% to the HC Artist.
The GGP Percentage is only 5% from the HC Artist and is matched by HC for 5%, equaling a total of 10% in contributions to assist approved GGP applicants.
